Pointe Vedra Beach, FL

This project involved creating a gate and fence for a "martini bar zen garden".  Knowing several folks who think that martinis are indeed a zen, I came up with the drawing below to serve.  I also had to come up with a way to make real looking bamboo.  Judge from yourself by the pictures below.  I could never have completed this job without a huge amount of help from another blacksmith, George Dupree.  George made virtually all of the leaves (400 of them!) and forged a substantial number of the segments of bamboo (1500 of those!)  Together we installed the piece last November.  The gate has an infinitely adjustable closer and a card reader system (electronics installed by the security guys).  This costs about $550 a linear foot.
