Alan Rogers Ironworks builds all things metal...railings, gates, fences, furniture, garden and home accessories...if you can draw it or wave your arms around in the air and explain it well enough, I can build it.  I think of myself as a 21st century blacksmith.  I don't hesitate to use modern tools and techniques but the heart of my work is forged iron.  On the pages of this site you will see the wide variety of motifs in which I work, from classic scrollwork to natural forms, to free form metal art.  Please have a look.  I've been so busy for the past couple of years I haven't had a chance to update this site and there is a ton of new work shown here.  Also, Forge and Anvil, the television series I made with Georgia Public Television, is now showing all over the US on RFD-TV .  Enjoy!
